DWAQ FM (107.5 Mhz) is a low-power FM campus radio station owned and operated by University of Santo Tomas – Legazpi. Its studio facility is located at Rawis, Legazpi City; while its transmitter is located at AQ Peak, Taysan, Legazpi City.. The station is being used as a laboratory for the Mass Media Communication students of the university and the students of Electronics Communication Engineering, with programming that includes music programs, religious programs, informative segments and talk shows to announce Good News.
Since July 2015, it operates from 5:00am – 12:00am, daily and is able to broadcast all year-round (including semestral breaks). Also, the station can be heard on the Internet via audio streaming.
It serves as the community radio station of University of Santo Tomas – Legaspi campus, which has also become the bastion of proclaiming the Good News of Christ and inspiring people.
The station is being manned by Fr. Gallardo “butch” Bombase, Jr.O.P., as a Radio Station Manager and Enthusiast. He is being assisted by Mr. Ariel Francisco as the Music Arranger and Playlist Program Director and is a computer technician and radio enthusiast.
