103.5 K-Lite FM – is a radio station in the Philippines that plays Adult contemporary format. It is owned and operated by Advanced Media Broadcasting System, Inc. Its studio and transmitter are located at Unit 906A, Paragon Plaza Building, EDSA corner Reliance street, Mandaluyong City.
It was known as the first iteration of 103.5 K-Lite from October 23, 1995 – November 30, 2006 and later, Heart 103.5 from January 1, 2007 – June 19, 2007.
In November 2006, the management of K-Lite decided to reformat and reorganize the station. On New Year’s Day 2007, it was relaunched as Heart 1035 with an easy listening format, and new on-air personalities. They then transferred their studio from Paragon Plaza to Jollibee Plaza in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
On June 19, 2007, at exactly 9:00pm, 103.5 underwent another change of format, rebranding as 103.5 Max FM (one-oh-three and-a-half Max FM) with a CHR format. By 2009, they switched directions to Top 40/Dance but kept the 103.5 Max FM moniker intact.
From August 23, 2010 to July 2013, the station shifted from a high-end format to a “pang-masa” format. Known as 103.5 Wow FM, this was Tiger 22 Media Corporation’s first venture into the mainstream, mass-based market. The format lasted for almost three years, ending its run on July 17, 2013.
On July 22, 2013, 103.5 was relaunched as the second iteration of 103.5 K-Lite, reverting to its new hot adult contemporary format.
On April 21, 2014, 103.5 K-Lite was reformatted into a CHR station and the slogan was changed to The Beat of Manila. This format is the same as its sister station, 99.5 Play FM, but the playlist is from the 90s up to the present time.
On August 18, 2014, the station had been reformatted back to its original AC format, and changed its slogan to Metro Manila’s Official Take Me Back Station as its playlist now focuses on playing the classic hits from the 1990s and early-to-mid 2000s, minus the current songs.
