17 years of serving through music and information. Star FM Cotabato still the most listened FM station in the areas of the City of Cotabato, Northern Cotabato, Lanao del Sur, Sultan Kudarat and Maguindanao.
Trivia: Since Star FM Cotabato started to broadcast, all male DJ’s used an air name with a military ranks like Lietenant, General, Admiral, Private, etc. This idea came up because of Gen. Luna St. near to the station’s location.
After 17 years, all female DJ’s add the word ‘Sexy’ on their air names.
